Ingredients:
- 7-8 crushed peppercorns
- 1 cardamom
- ½ tsp Guduchi powder (or 8-20 crushed fresh Guduchi leaves)
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup water
- Optional: Milk (to make it like tea), sugar (for children)
Preparation Method:
- Take a clean vessel and add 1 cup of water.
- Put the water on medium heat and bring it to a boil.
- Add the crushed peppercorns and cardamom to the boiling water.
- Mix in Guduchi powder (or crushed fresh leaves) and stir well.
- Add turmeric powder and let the mixture boil thoroughly for a few minutes.
- For a tea-like preparation, add milk as a substitute for coffee or tea.
- If serving children, you may add a little sugar for taste.
- Strain the Kashaya into a cup and serve warm.
